Reservation Terms
Effective date: September 6, 2026
These terms apply to reservations for the first release of the Valeur Signature Beef Box.
Valeur Signature Foods is a consumer brand operated by Valeur Commodities Corp. (“Valeur,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
By completing a reservation, you confirm that you have reviewed and accepted these terms.
1. The first release
The first release is limited to 120 Valeur Signature Beef Boxes.
Each box is expected to include:
approximately 6 kg of frozen beef;
approximately 24 portions; and
five premium cuts: ribeye, striploin, tenderloin, top sirloin cap—also known as picanha—and tri-tip.
Individual cut sizes, package counts and total weight may vary slightly because beef is a natural product. “Approximately 24 portions” is a serving estimate, not a guarantee of 24 individually packaged pieces.
Product photographs and packaging mockups are illustrative. Minor differences in appearance, packaging or cut size do not affect the essential nature of the product.
2. Box price and reservation payment
The complete price is:
Total box price: $250 CAD per box
Reservation payment due at time of reservation: $25 CAD per box
Remaining balance: $225 CAD per box
The $25 payment is not a waitlist fee and is not an additional service charge. It is a partial payment toward the $250 purchase price and will be credited against the final amount due.
Any applicable tax and delivery charge will be disclosed before payment. The amount shown at checkout is the amount payable at that stage.
3. When a reservation is confirmed
A reservation is confirmed only when:
the online payment is successfully processed; and
Valeur sends an order or reservation confirmation.
Adding a reservation product to the cart does not hold a box.
Reservations are accepted subject to availability, successful payment, delivery-area eligibility and our ability to fulfil the order.
4. Expected availability
Reservations open on October 1, 2026. This is the launch date and is not necessarily the delivery date.
Expected product availability: [INSERT EXPECTED AVAILABILITY DATE OR DELIVERY WINDOW BEFORE LAUNCH].
We will provide journey and availability updates as the beef moves through processing, export, import and final preparation in Canada. Because this is an imported food product, timing may be affected by inspections, customs, transportation, weather or other events outside our reasonable control.
We will notify you if the expected availability changes materially.
5. Final invoice and payment
When your box is ready for fulfilment, we will send a final invoice showing:
the full box price;
the $25 reservation payment already received;
the remaining balance;
any disclosed delivery charge or applicable tax; and
the payment due date.
The remaining balance will normally be $225 CAD per box, subject to any delivery charge or applicable tax disclosed before completion of the purchase.
Payment must be made by the date shown on the invoice.
If payment is not received, we will send a reminder. If the balance remains unpaid after reasonable notice, we may cancel the reservation and release the box to another customer. Any refundable reservation amount will be returned to the original payment method.
6. Delivery area
The first release is available only to eligible delivery addresses within Valeur’s current delivery route, generally extending from Vancouver east to Hope, British Columbia. Delivery for this first release is included in the $250 box price.
Deliveries are scheduled once weekly on Wednesdays. We will confirm the applicable delivery date before fulfilment and provide an estimated arrival window on delivery day.
Delivery-address or access-instruction changes must be submitted at least 48 hours before the scheduled delivery window. Changes remain subject to the approved delivery area and route capacity.
Customer pickup is not available for this release.
7. Customer cancellations
You may cancel your reservation at any time before the final balance is paid. The $25 reservation payment will be refunded to the original payment method.
Once the final balance has been paid, the box is committed to fulfilment. Cancellations after that point will be considered where Valeur can reasonably stop fulfilment, but a change-of-mind refund is not guaranteed.
This does not limit any refund or cancellation right available under applicable law.
8. If Valeur cannot fulfill the reservation
If we cannot supply your reserved box, we will notify you and refund all amounts paid for the unfulfilled box.
We may also offer an alternative delivery date or product, but you are not required to accept an alternative.
A refund will be made to the original payment method unless another method is agreed.
9. Substitutions and material changes
We will not replace an advertised premium cut with a materially different or lower-value product without notifying you.
If an unforeseen supply issue requires a material change to the contents, weight, price or delivery arrangement, we will explain the change and give you the choice to:
accept the revised order; or
cancel and receive a refund of the affected amount.
10. Frozen food and customer responsibility
The beef will be delivered frozen or at an appropriate food-safe frozen temperature.
You are responsible for:
providing a complete and accurate delivery address;
providing a working mobile number and email address;
giving accurate building, gate, concierge or access instructions;
being available for the agreed delivery arrangement;
inspecting the box promptly; and
transferring the beef to a freezer without unnecessary delay.
Follow the storage, thawing, handling and cooking instructions provided with the product.
11. Product concerns
Please contact Valeur promptly if:
the wrong product is delivered;
the box or packaging is materially damaged;
the product appears to have experienced a temperature-control problem; or
you have another quality or food-safety concern.
Where practical, notify us within 24 hours of delivery and retain:
the product and packaging;
photographs of the concern;
the product label;
the lot or traceability code; and
your order number.
Do not consume a product you reasonably believe may be unsafe.
Depending on the circumstances, Valeur may provide a replacement, credit or refund. This does not limit rights available under applicable law.
12. Reservation and product communications
By reserving a box, you agree to receive communications reasonably necessary to manage:
the reservation;
payment;
product availability;
import and shipment updates;
delivery;
food traceability;
product recalls; and
customer service.
These messages are not newsletter consent.
Newsletters, chocolate announcements and other promotional communications require a separate optional consent.
13. Customer information
You agree that the contact and delivery information submitted with the reservation is accurate.
Please notify us promptly if your email, telephone number or delivery address changes. Delivery-address changes remain subject to our service area.
Our handling of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy.
14. Delays and events beyond our control
We will use reasonable efforts to fulfill reservations within the communicated timeframe.
Valeur is not responsible for delays caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control, including border or customs processes, regulatory inspections, carrier disruption, severe weather, road closures or supply-chain interruption.
We will communicate material delays and, where we cannot fulfill the reservation within a reasonable period, offer cancellation and a refund.
15. Applicable law
These terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia and the applicable laws of Canada.
Nothing in these terms excludes or restricts rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded, including applicable consumer-protection rights.
